Just a flower photo, which I don’t do many of, I was trying out the 18-105 lens from the D90 on the D60, tried doing a few macro shots, but they just didn’t appear to me as much as this one… I love the way it stands out so colorful against the dimming light of the day.

This is near the library on the UNC-Charlotte campus (the library is the building in the background.) Its a fairly large 8 point compass on the grounds of the recently upgraded quad between the library and the student activity center, et all. This was just after class Monday night, came outside and the wind was warm and the sky was so interesting… I just had to try to photograph it. got some odd looks from a few classmates, but it was worth it.

Firebot Downtime – September 24...
Starting now, and continuing for at least several hours, the server that hosts firebot will be down for an upgrade.. since the other server here is being kind enough to donate its “old” CPU and motherboard…
