Who is Wolf?I'm Chris. I'm 21 years old and was born on October 9th, 1983. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina, for those of you who don't know where it is, it's inland about halfway down on the Atlantic coast of the US. I'm between things in my life and constantly in search of some kind of guidance as to which way I should go. I'm likely to become a college student in the next year, but at the moment I'm not in school. I'm also unemployed, and don't yet drive a car, which limits what I can do. Now that I've gotten the basic nuts and bolts of my life out there, which are pretty simple and straightforward, and seem to shape my life whether I like it or not, I can move on to things that are more interesting. I enjoy listening to music. I'll listen to anything once, though my favorite types are Rock (both new and classic), 80s/90s pop, New Age, and Dance/Electronic. I enjoy the simple things in life, in a fast paced society that's mostly about acquiring more gadgets and money. I don't put a lot of value into money. I see it as a requirement in life, and I certainly want enough of it to be able to do what I want in life, but I don't think that working to make it should be a priority over friends and family and just enjoying life as it is. That's not to say I don't like buying gadgets, that'd be a lie. I'm interested in computers and other electronics, but I don't just buy something for the hell of it, but rather 'cause I'd use it. Of course, that doesn't stop me from wanting a 60" HDTV. ;-) I really enjoy being outside. Though as its currently winter here, it's much too cold to get out much. I like it when its 65°F and higher outside, which makes Spring through early-Autumn my favorite part of the year, particularly spring, when things warm up and bloom. There's something very inspiring about watching the world around you come alive. I love Thunderstorms, always have. Not for the destruction they can cause, I hate Tornados and the like, and never want to be in one, but rather the intriguing beauty of the ferociousness of the lightning, thunder and the complicated clouds that they create, the ions they release, and the winds that begin right before it starts to rain. A good spring rain is nice too, in a pleasant and relaxing way, though they tend to hang around too long and make things dreary. I'm interested in photography, though I haven't been very active in taking photos of stuff lately. I mostly do scenery as it seems easiest, people are hard. Besides, you can't just take random photos of strangers on the street without attracting a little bit of unwanted attention. ;-) Let's see, sports, I'm not very athletic personally, as I wasn't very good at anything when I was a kid, until I got older. I'd like to change that though, if it's in me, and find a sport I'm decent at, just for fun. I like Football (pro-only, college bores Me.), but I don't pay as much attention to it as I'd like. I also like Basketball (mostly college, opposite of football, go figure.). Favorite teams, I'm undecided on at this point. I mostly know who I don't like and not who I do. I like hiking, it goes with my love of the outdoors, and I like to run, but I'm lazy and don't do it much. Friends, nothing is more simple in life that being happy just hanging out for no real good reason with a good friend or with a bunch of them. I come alive when I'm around other people and die when I'm alone for long periods of time. I'm shy, so I don't have a lot of friends, never been good at making them and keeping them. I'm very protective of people who are my friends too, if needed to be anyway. People let other people hurt them way too easily. One of the best times I've had with friends lately was going to the Evanescence and Seether concert back in July (2004). I had a great time, and definitely want to do more stuff like that. :-) The future... I don't really know what is going to happen, I'm quite confused at the moment when it comes to thinking about moving forward with my life. I have a few interests that I want to somehow bring closer together, including my interest in computers and networking, music and FM radio, and sound/music in general, including the production parts of it. I'd really like to spend some time as a DJ, as I've always liked playing music for other people, and making them feel good, though I don't see myself doing it for years. I guess we'll see what happens.
